These are pretty little cookies that taste similar to shortbread. Preserves give them extra sweetness. We used raspberry preserves, but you can substitute other fruit preserves or jam, depending on what you have on hand.

Banana Nut Bread

This is my favorite banana bread recipe. It makes two loaves that cook evenly. We can’t wait for them to cool . . . we spread butter on them and eat them while warm. But since this makes two loaves, we can eat one now and save the other for later!
