This is a wonderful alternative to the regular cole slaw – with the addition of nuts, berries and other ingredients you don’t normally add to slaw. Great for bbq or holiday meals — good enough for company, for sure!
This is one of my favorites because you can make it ahead and keep in the refrigerator – or even freeze it. It’s easy to make, and it tastes sooo good!
I call this “Chicken Just In Thyme” because it really is a “time” saver. I usually have the boneless chicken breasts (or chicken tenders) in the freezer, so this is a great emergency recipe. Easy enough for every day dinner, good enough to serve company. I use thyme from my herb garden.
